Czech Translation Services – Certified | Sworn | Notarized

With global education, migration, and cross-border enterprise on the rise accuracy and certified translation are essential. The Czech Republic, which is renowned for its education, business environment, and immigration prospects, usually demands document translation into or from the Czech language for official purposes.
We provide ISO 17100-accredited Czech translations at Apostille Attest, ensuring your documents would be acceptable to Czech and other international authorities. Whether you apply for a visa or enroll at a university or submit business/legal documents, our team will translate it accurately, certified, sworn, or notarized as per your requirements.

Why Czech Translation Services Are Important?

Every year, the Czech Republic accepts thousands of international students and workers and is one of the most accessible countries in the EU for immigration and education. When you apply or submit documents to the Embassy of the Czech Republic, local municipal offices, or universities, translated documents are required. If you submit relevant applications without a good translation, you could be delayed or rejected simply because of poor translation. So, that is where our certified and sworn translation services come in, to provide you with lingual accuracy and legal compliance in your documents.

Types of Czech Translation Services We Offer

We offer three main types of translations into Czech. The type you need depends on your document and what the authority receiving it requires. Whether you have official papers, business documents, or personal files, we can provide the right translation to meet those needs.

Certified Czech Translation

A certified translation comes with a signed declaration from a professional translator or agency. This declaration assures that the translation is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.

Accepted by: Czech universities, embassies, visa offices, and corporate entities.

 Notarized Czech Translation

This service means a certified translation gets officially stamped by a public notary. This process makes sure the translation is real and the translator’s identity is legally verified.

Often requested by courts, embassies, and government offices.

Sworn Czech Translation (Sworn Translator Certified)

Sworn Translation is the most legally binding form of translation in the Czech Republic. It is performed by a court-appointed (sworn) translator, and the Czech judiciary system gives authority to the translator as an official in that capacity.

This is the case for documents which are submitted or need to be submitted to Czech courts, public offices, ministries, universities, and embassies.

What makes Sworn Translation different?

Sworn translation is a legal form of translation only carried out by translators who have been officially appointed as sworn translators by the court in the Czech Republic. A sworn translation is legally binding which is not true for certified or notarized translations, but even has more legal standing in the Czech legal and administrative system. The relevant legal text is written by the sworn translator, who is a sworn translator, or court translator, to the translated document, including the translator’s round official stamp, the translator’s official signature, and a sworn translation certificate, which verifies that the translation is accurate and faithful to the original document. Nearly always, the original and translated document are attached physically together so that the translation cannot be tampered with, and the combined document is immediately acceptable by the Czech courts, universities, government ministries, and embassies in the Czech Republic. This is essential in legal processes, education, embassies, courts, government ministries, as well as nearly every public record, e.g., marriage certificate, after verbatim translation to a higher purpose and/or context where legal certainty/official recognition will help; if not definitely hinder, future actions for the individual of any nationality. There are many processes where a faulty and/or poorly organized system will further aggravate the issues. A sworn translation may be obligatory or required for visa to stay applications, court documents, admissions to Czech educational paths, and whenever public records are equivalent where there is legal certainty, traceability and represents full and complete knowledge/information (includes legal obligations).
